Long time favourite of mine for the cozy atmosphere and nice selection of beers, Café de Tuin is located in the Jordaan area, around the corner of Westerstraat. Recently they added a few vegan options to their menu!

For lunch they have the omnipresent ‘broodje hummus’ (hummus sandwich), here they add grilled veggies and rocket to it. Their chickpea salad can be made vegan. They also have vegan bananabread and plant-based milk for coffee.

Obviously you don’t go here for the food necessarily, but for the fact you can enjoy it in a nice, authentic atmosphere. Recommended: every Saturday the organic farmers market is happening at Noordermarkt, just around the corner.
