Vegan place in the east offering healthy bowls, smoothies and more. Focused on take-away though they have some seating.
Convenient and healthy
Originally started out as an idea for a vegan store, then turned into a cafe. Oliver Green is the brainchild of Stefan and Merel. They started eating plantbased a few years ago for health and environmental reasons. But they felt Amsterdam is lacking places where you can get healthy vegan food in a convenient way, and so, decided to create that place themselves!
The food at Oliver Green is inspired by macrobiotics and the famous dietary book ‘How Not to Die’ by Dr. Greger. The idea is that we need a balanced combination of whole food plant-based proteins, carbs and fats, with a set of twelve foods we ideally should eat every day. At Oliver Green they aim to apply this knowledge on the composition of their dishes.
On the menu you’ll find various bowls (sweet bowls, macro bowls, salad bowls), wraps, smoothies and juices. The dishes are also inspired by the owners’ travels to Bali and Mexico. Also sweets and various lattes.
Oliver Green is located on the western end of Eerste Oosterparkstraat, in between the Amstel river and Wibautstraat. Amsterdam East, but close to De Pijp and metro. They also do home-delivery. Open every day!
