Israeli style hummus restaurant located in De Pijp, flat bread wraps and hummus bowls.
Love for hummus
Opened in 2015 by three friends with a deep love for hummus and its eating culture in the Levant. After starting out to sell their hummus at the market in London, they were dreaming of opening up a real place, and decided to move to Amsterdam.
From delivery-only, then to a weekly pop-up, they eventually found a place at Van der Helstplein. Some time later they opened up a second location at Ruysdaelkade, which remained the only one from 2022 on (all pictures from Van der Helstplein).
In a bowl
The menu is all about hummus, served in a bowl, accompagnied with salad and pickles. Optional toppings include eggplant, fava beans etc. Not everything is vegan, meat and eggs are also on the menu, but the vegan options are marked as such.
Other items on the menu are their flat bread wraps, the vegan option is with falafel.
They also have some vegan side dishes like ful, falafel, salad and fries with vegan mayo. Vegan chocolate-tahini praline for sweets!
Indoor seating and a lovely terrace outside as well. Close to tram stop (tram 3, 12, 24) and metro De Pijp at Ceintuurbaan.
