Israeli style hummus restaurant with two locations in De Pijp, one focuses on hummus, the other one on filled pita ‘sandwiches’.
Love for hummus
Opened in 2015 by three friends with a deep love for hummus and its eating culture in the Levant. After starting out to sell their hummus at the market in London, they were dreaming of opening up a real place, and decided to move to Amsterdam. From delivery-only, then to a weekly pop-up, they eventually found a place at De Pijp.
In a bowl
At Van der Helstplein the menu is all about hummus, served in a bowl, accompagnied with salad and pickles. Optional toppings include eggplant, fava beans etc. Not everything is vegan, meat and eggs are also on the menu.
Just around the corner at Ruysdaelkade they have their second location which they opened some time later. At this place they specialise in pita ‘sandwiches’, filled with for example falafel, grilled veggies and hummus of course.
Both places have outdoor seating.
