This liquorice is just GREAT! Autodrop Pittige Patsers Peper, slightly hot. 🔥 The sour and the salty variant are also vegan (though I didn’t find the salty one anywhere yet).
They sell it at Albert Heijn but not at all of them. Finally found it at Albert Heijn Jan Evertsenstraat. However it said they’re going to take it out of their assortment so hurry up! 🙂
Heksehyl liquorice gone vegan!
Another type of liquorice which no longer contains gelatin. Heksehyl liquorice is vegan now! No gelatin no beeswax. Soft with a salty liquorice core. Available a.o. at Albert Heijn and Jumbo supermarkets.

Yay! Supermarket chain Albert Heijn rearranged product and packaging of some of its candy. This liquorice is new and vegan! Soft with a sweet flavour, no gelatin no beeswax. Gotta love the empty cages on the packaging! 😉

Yes this candy manufacturer is trying hard to make their products free of gelatin and now this classic type of liquorice became vegan! Katja Dropharingen. No gelatin no beeswax. Generally available in supermarkets. Beware that most other types of candy bearing the ‘I ♥ Veggie’ logo still contain beeswax.
