Popular Surinamese deli with adjoining international food shop. Most stuff on the menu isn’t vegan but their broodje tempeh (tempeh bread roll) is one of the best in town.
The food store is the place to go to for non-Dutch food items. Not as big as the Asian supermarkets in town but they have a selection of foods from a huge number of countries. Dried chilis from Mexico, spice mixes from Indonesia, Chinese soy sauce, liquid smoke from the US. Fresh Madame Jeanette peppers, galangal root, kaffir lime leaves – you’ll find it here.
