Vegabond
Vegan foodstore and lunchroom with loads of products. Think sausages, candy bars, vegan mayonnaise but also a few cookbooks. Has also a small lunch area and fresh food to take-away.
Deli counter
In 2014 Vegabond opened at Leliegracht, as one of the first all vegan places in town. Then in 2019 they moved to De Clercqstraat. At this location they focus more on the deli counter with lots of food for take-away. Savoury options include various salads, quiche, empanadas, puff pastry filled with vegan sausage or spinach and vegan feta. Sweet options are a lot: for example banana bread, cake, pie, croissants, cupcakes and energy balls. Fresh drinks available as well.
Vegan cheese
In the fridge they have a huge selection of vegan cheese, lots of them local! Also vegan sausages, mayo, pizza and icecream. In a small freezer they offer single portions of icecream, popular brands like Magnum, Cornetto and Ben & Jerry’s.
In the dry goods section you can find items such as chocolate, wine, personal care products etc.
There are some tables inside as well as a bench outside. Vegabond is located at the corner of De Clercqstraat and Bilderdijkstraat, tram stops nearby. In this neighbourhood you will find a lot of other vegan places as well, like Meatless District, Soil, Mastino V and Vegan Sushi Bar.
